While I have had a long-time fascination with cars, hot rods, muscle cars, and some racing, I didn't start following NASCAR seriously until Summer of 2006. Since watching Matt Kenseth absolutely Dominate Bristol in the Nationwide (then Busch) series, then do a repeat performance on the Cup side the next night, I've been hooked. I decided to start this blog to have a place to post my reflections on racing.
Now I am the Assistant Editor for a newspaper in Benicia, CA, neighboring town to Vallejo, home of Jeff Gordon. We are just a short drive away from the best Road Course on the circuit… the raceway at Sonoma (formerly Infineon Raceway, formerly Sears Point Raceway).
Occasionally I have the opportunity to write about NASCAR and other forms of motorsports, so I repost them here.
I've been pursuing one form of art or another since childhood. The journey has led me through many mediums, from painting, to fiber arts, to metal working and many others in between.
I am equally passionate about motorsports, NASCAR in particular.
Art & NASCAR, two of my loves to write about and share with the world.
